What happens to your existing Supplement bought under ElderShield if you decide to join CareShield Life?

Your Supplement policy will stay in-force as long as you continue to pay Supplement premiums and remain covered under the CareShield Life/ElderShield policy. You would also be able to claim from both your Supplement policy and CareShield Life/ElderShield as long as you fulfil the respective claim criteria.

All Supplement plans will continue to be administered by the private insurers, even after the Government takes over the administration of ElderShield from 1 November 2021 onwards.
